A new perspective on lobby design — the RRI Pusat 1st Floor Rear Lobby reflects how simplicity, structure, and lighting can redefine a space that welcomes movement and connection.
Within 150 m² and completed in just one month, UHS Indonesia transformed this area into a modern, refined, and highly functional entrance experience.

The Story Behind the Space

Serving as a key access point for staff and visitors, the rear lobby of RRI’s headquarters in Jakarta plays an important role in daily circulation.
Originally a purely functional area, it needed a new identity — one that felt elegant, open, and timeless while maintaining practicality for high-traffic use.

UHS Indonesia took on the challenge to create a space that feels grand yet grounded, blending warm materials, clear geometry, and precise lighting to express professionalism and calm.

Design Concept: Modern, Minimal, and Monumental

The design follows a modern contemporary concept, focusing on proportion, symmetry, and subtle contrast.
Soft beige tones dominate the palette, complemented by accents of black marble and warm indirect lighting.
The combination of natural stone flooring and clean wall lines enhances visual continuity, while architectural cutouts — such as the round wall detail — add dimension and sophistication.

The lighting is deliberately layered: recessed ceiling lights provide even illumination, while linear accents emphasize architectural depth and guide the visitor’s movement through the space.
This thoughtful balance of light, texture, and tone creates a luxurious yet understated atmosphere.

Execution: One Month, Perfectly Structured

Executed in just one month, the project demonstrates UHS Indonesia’s capacity for precision under tight deadlines.
From design coordination to custom panel fabrication and installation, every process followed a structured timeline supported by the dual-shift system.
Each surface alignment, lighting fixture, and transition line was carefully inspected to ensure the visual and structural integrity of the design.
